Governor Arabela Carreras will return to Viedma tomorrow to resume her provincial management.

This morning, the president spoke with her immediate collaborators, showing that she had recovered from the unexpected and harsh defeat in the Bariloche election.
She did not achieve her goal of being elected municipal head of her city. She finished second to the mercantile leader and former Peronist legislator Walter Cortés, who surpassed her by 2,866 votes.
Last night, Carreras was in the gym in the Las Quintas neighborhood, prepared for the celebration that did not happen. He attended, with an evident show of grief, to thank the supporters, congratulate Cortés and emphasize that he had given himself “everything we had.” He silenced any internal complaint towards those who did not join. It was not the stage.
The message was raised by his running mate, Juan Pablo Ferrari. He thanked “all those who were part of the union and those who were not will know how they sleep.”
For Carreras, vulnerability cannot be demonstrated in politics.
This morning he complied with that Buddhist precept again and, in his contacts, he relativized his despondency. He stated that the local process passed, and he was interested in quickly resuming his government activity.
