The Minister Delegate in charge of Relations with Parliament and government spokesperson, Mustapha Baitas, stressed during a press briefing in Rabat that the resumption of social dialogue demonstrates the government’s serious commitment to the working class.
Meetings between the government and the trade union centers will continue until Friday, illustrating the participatory approach adopted to address the various social issues. Baitas also addressed the eligibility criteria for direct social assistance and Compulsory Health Insurance (AMO) Tadamon, affirming that they have not been revised. According to him, nearly 4 million families benefit from direct social assistance, while AMO Tadamon currently has 11.2 million members.
The government covers the membership fees for the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) for AMO Tadamon beneficiaries so that they can benefit from free health services.
Families receiving direct social assistance receive monthly allowances in accordance with the terms established by decree, and this process is taking place under good conditions, according to Baitas.
