“It is in potential threat”: Government warns of damage to the Mayan Biosphere Reserve

Ministry of Culture and Sports issues a statement and reminds regarding prison sentences for those responsible for damaging the cultural heritage of Guatemalans.

The Ministry of Culture and Sports (Micude) of Guatemala warned that is monitoring what is currently happening within the Mayan Biosphere area, the largest protected area in the country, in the department of Petén.
