National hero Arshad Nadeem won a gold medal in the javelin throw at the Paris Olympics, giving Pakistan a gold medal after 40 years at the Olympics, after which he has been showered with accolades. While the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa says that government funds are not meant for giving prizes.

It should be noted that on Tuesday, Pakistani athlete Arshad Nadeem was also awarded big prizes by Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz. Maryam Nawaz went to Arshad Nadeem’s house in Mian Chanu and presented him a check of Rs 10 crore. And also presented the key of the Honda Civic car to him while also giving a check of five lakh rupees to Salman Iqbal Butt, the coach of the gold medalist athlete.
