Félix Tshisekedi opened the 2024 session government seminar on Sunday. The theme of this edition is: “Sealing the citizen engagement pact by promoting performance in governance and effective implementation of reforms in execution of the Government Action Program (PAG) 2024-2028”.
According to the presidency:
« This solemn activity aims at sharing information and experiences in order to consolidate cohesion within the government and ensure the harmonious execution of the presidential program, intended to respond to the concerns of the Congolese population.« .
In his speech, the President of the Republic declared:
« We must address development, governance and social justice issues with commitment. Our citizens expect tangible results. Concrete changes in their daily lives, and we must live up to their aspirations.
Also speaking, Judith Suminwa said every minister will be judged on his or her achievements.
“Everyone will be judged on the basis of their competence, their professional qualities, but also their good morals. This is the guiding principle of the Government of Difference.” said the Prime Minister.
