The government provides humanitarian aid worth 300,000 dollars (regarding 400 million won) and 100,000 dollars, respectively, to Pakistan and Sudan, which suffered from massive flooding.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the 29th, continuous heavy rains in Pakistan since June have killed more than 1,000 people and injured 1,500.

About 350 of the deaths are children.

About 50,000 houses were destroyed by the flood, and the number of victims reached 33 million.

The Pakistani government declared a national emergency on the 25th.

In Sudan, record-breaking torrential rains fell compared to the previous year, damaging 43,000 homes and killing 150,000 people.

Another 83 people died and 30 others were injured.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “We hope that this support will help the people of Pakistan and Sudan as soon as possible to stabilize their lives and restore the damaged areas.”
