Government of Zulia works to promote a “New model of health management”

This was confirmed by the doctor María Moreno, Secretary of Health of Zulia state, in statements offered in an interview with an important audiovisual medium in the capital of Zulia.

“We are already evaluating and reviewing what will be the “New Model of Health Management”, one of the flags of our governor Manuel Rosales, in his first government, and it guaranteed patients free medications and medical examinations, as well as care in different specialties, and the maintenance of the infrastructures”, he explained.

The Secretary of Health of the state of Zulia, also indicated that: “We have made available to the Ministry of Health, all our proposals to work in coordination with all levels of government. We cannot politicize health in our state, nor in the country, we have to optimize resources wherever they come from. Regarding the operation of maternity hospitals in the capital of Zulia, Moreno stated: “The San Francisco and Cuatricentenario maternity hospitals remain closed, both the obstetrics service and the pediatrics service and we are already working to reactivate these care centers.”

Outpatient clinics have been guaranteeing primary health care. “Today a supervision is being carried out in the municipality of Lagunillas and we have been evaluating the Ambulatory Network of the state of Zulia, to strengthen this primary health care”.

Regarding the surgeries that were carried out in public hospitals, Moreno announced that In the next few days, Governor Manuel Rosales Guerrero will be announcing the reactivation of cataract surgeries, hernias and other interventions. carried out at the state level.
