Government of Havana announces Agricultural Fairs for April 20: these will be the prices

The Government of Havana has announced that next Saturday, April 20, Agricultural Fairs will be held in all the municipalities of the capital.

As usual to needlocal governments will be in charge of regulating prices, ensuring that they are affordable for the population.

Residents will be able to count on a variety of products at affordable prices. Prices, in national currency (CUP), range from 23 CUP to 450 CUP. Cassava is the cheapest product, with a price of 23 CUP, while the bag of charcoal is the most expensive, with a price of 450 CUP.

The fairs will take place in the following places:

– Plaza de la Revolución Municipality: Jon Lenon Park, 17th Street

– Playa Municipality: Calle 13 and 76

– Habana del Este Municipality: Calle Ancha 180 e/1st and 5th C/P Alamar Este

– Rule Municipality: Calle Calixto García e/Amburquenque and Ruviera CP/ Guaicanamar

– Municipality of Guanabacoa: Amphitheater, San Juan Bosco and False Yard

– San Miguel del Padrón Municipality: Calle Mayor and Calzada de Güines

– Municipio Marianao: Calle 124 Plaza Cívica

– La Lisa Municipality: Ave 51, e/ 212 and 218, in front of Banco San Rafael

– Boyeros Municipality: Ave. 184 and 321 Rancho Boyeros, La Herradura, Boyeros Council

– Cotorro Municipality: Plaza 26 de Julio

– Cerro Municipality: La Normal Park

– Centro Habana Municipality: Calle Valle from Infanta to Hospital C/P Cayo Hueso

– Old Havana Municipality: Zulueta Street e/ Corrales and Apodaca

– Arroyo Naranjo Municipality: Calzada de Menocal, Mantilla

– Diez de Octubre Municipality: Víbora Popular Council, Goicuría Street from Vista Alegre to O’Farril

Residents have expressed their opinions regarding the fairs. Dulce María Matos Cedeño asked that the fair locations be rotated, since for some residents, such as those from Los Pinos, it is difficult to get to Mantilla. On the other hand, Tereza Fernández expressed her concern regarding the discrepancy between the published prices and the real prices at the fairs.
