The government of Argentina decreed the national holiday for this Tuesday, December 20, the day the The Argentine team will carry out a caravan from Ezeiza to the Obelisk to celebrate winning the World Cup with the fans.
The objective of the decreed measure is that Argentines can go out to celebrate with the team that beat France in the World Cup final in Qatar to obtain the third star in the history of the National Team.
As the government explained, the banks and the AFIP will work until 12 noon, while public transport will function normally.
“Companies were talked to to ensure public transport, which must provide the service and whose supervision will be the responsibility of the National Transport Regulation Commission (CNRT),” national government sources told the Télam news agency.
The news was released this Monday followingnoon, while the plane carrying the Albiceleste delegation continues on its way to Buenos Aires. The Ministers of National, Provincial and City Security met in the offices of Aníbal Fernández to coordinate the route that the squad will take from the AFA premises in Ezeiza to the center of the trans-Andean capital.
