In response to the request to declare Ñuble an agricultural emergency, the government is currently evaluating the measure based on the records of the affected producers following the latest frontal systems that affected the territory.

The response comes from recent statements made by UDI deputy Marta Bravo and regional governor Oscar Crisóstomo, who asked central level for instruments to support affected farmers, as has been done in other regions such as La Araucanía and Biobío.

A meeting with sector organisations has been called for next Monday to settle the matter.
