Government Council. The Commercial Code on the menu for this Thursday’s meeting

A Council of Government will be held on Thursday, September 29, under the chairmanship of the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch. This same Board will examine the bill amending the law forming the Commercial Code and setting transitional provisions relating to payment terms.

According to a press release from the head of government’s department, the Council will continue its work by examining a draft decree-law laying down provisions relating to the National Press Council, in addition to a draft decree relating to the extension of the duration of the state of health emergency implemented throughout the national territory, in order to deal with the spread of covid-19.

In addition, it will examine the Constitution of the African Civil Aviation Commission adopted in Dakar on December 16, 2009, as well as a draft law approving the said text, before closing its work by examining proposals for appointment to of high office, in accordance with the provisions of article 92 of the Constitution. It should be noted that the government will subsequently hold a meeting devoted to the examination of bills.
