Government allocates funds to help affected merchants in Cumanacoa

This Monday, the Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodriguezannounced that President Nicolás Maduro has authorized funds to assist those affected in Cumanacoa, located in the state of Sucre, in the midst of the emergency.

Rodríguez announced through his account on the social network X that resources worth one million dollars will be allocated to help businesses affected by the heavy rains in Cumanacoa.

Traders affected in Cumanacoa

He highlighted that the national leader created a fund in Bs. equivalent to $1M to support with financing, without any conditions, the economic sectors affected by the rains and the flooding of the river.

He added that the production, services and trade sectors will receive this financing.

To date, it has left six dead and thousands of people affected in Cumanacoa.

Affected merchants in Cumanacoa will receive help from the national government.
