Gourdan-Polignan. A construction with ecological and economic challenges

NaturaDream, an innovation that arrives in the Comminges, where Charlotte Saulneron will be at the forefront by building a very special house. The audacious idea is the construction of a semi-buried habitat, composed of a highly efficient arch from an ecological and energy point of view. A house that inverts the curves: no visual pollution but just a green dome that covers a cozy, light, spacious, warm cocoon… And perfectly integrated into the surrounding landscape.

Without heating and without air conditioning

Charlotte points out that “the designer of this bioclimatic house insisted that a water zone be installed near the glass openings, here a spa pool, so that the reflection of the sun on the water supplies the house with heat in winter. and that this water point guarantees its freshness in summer. He designed the house so that it draws from nature to function, without impacting it.” It will therefore be naturally heated in winter thanks in particular to the orientation and configuration of large bay windows, and cool in summer thanks to its vegetated vault. It is a realization without heating and without air conditioning, highly thought out to considerably reduce the energy consumption of its occupants, and therefore undeniably their carbon footprint while the interior temperature will be constant, summer and winter.

The television channel TF1, through its weekly magazine Seven to Eight, will go regularly to Gourdan-Polignan. These journalists will follow the site to share its innovation with its viewers. Work began on Monday, January 23: we will follow their progress.
