GOTHO – Debut album “Mindbowling” 28.10.22

Italy’s GOTHO will release their gnarly debut album “Mindbowling” on October 28th, 2022 via Controcanti Produzioni.

GOTHO’s sound is influenced by math and progressive rock, mangled with elements of metal and more. The project released its sardonic debut single “Gatta De Blanc” in Summer 2020 to critical acclaim, while the duo – Fabio Cuomo (ELDER, LIQUIDO DI MORTE) on synths and Andrea Peracchia (TONS, DOGS FOR BREAKFAST) on drums – found themselves already relied heavily on the creation of new material that delved even further into areas of experimentation.

If the single was an amazing acid trip, GOTHO’s debut album is the subsequent and sobering descent into madness.

GOTHO is a band that has relied on improvisation to get their message across in the most sarcastic and unpredictable way, but conversely they have taken their time to get to the point where they are now on the precipice of releasing “Mindbowling”. stand. World events forced a creative prowess that gave them the right attitude to focus on crafting their latest studio work.

The album is a live studio recording without overdub: all tracks evoke abyss, wonder and terror like a feeling of falling.
