Already present during the Summer Game Fest period, Gotham Knights could not miss the opportunity to be present a second time at Geoff Keighley’s new inaugural evening. On the sidelines of this presentation, Gotham Knights has outbid at Gamescom by unveiling a long and frantic boss fight against one of the villains crossed a few days earlier.

On the occasion of the video game fair in Cologne, Gotham Knights proved to us that he was a doubly impatient game. Can’t wait to have the chance to reveal a little more, but also can’t wait to release on next-gen consoles, PS5 et Xbox Series X|Set PC since he decided to bring forward his release : the game having gone “gold” for a few days now. Between a ton of trailers highlighting the four vigilantes who will take over from the late Batman and a very broad overview of the first sixteen minutes of the game in the skin of Batgirl, the teams of Warner Bros. Montreal have set up a particularly well-honed communication!
However, the umpteenth trailer for Opening Night Live (available at the top of the article) is not the only indication of the presence of the Knights of Gotham in the aisles of Gamescom. Without warning, the apprentices of the Dark Knight have returned in a new extract which this time focuses on a boss fight. This is particularly the writing ofIGN who had the opportunity to relay this confrontation which lets you appreciate Nightwing’s moves and abilities as he faces off against one of his mentor’s archenemiesone of those that we could see in the trailer previously released.
Nightwing more agile than ever to face the succession of the Joker
There won’t be as many to put in our mouths as the previous gameplay sequence, but these seven minutes reveal a rather interesting part of the next title from Warner Bros. Montreal, namely the boss fights. And for this first duel, it is Nightwing who sticks to it since he finds himself face to face with Harley Quinn, wearing makeup bearing the image of the Joker, in the corridors of the Gotham City hospital.. However, the latter does not really want to put an end to her abuses and follow Nightwing to end up behind bars: armed with her mass, she will give him a hard time.
Quickly for Nightwing, the best defense against this boss – which, as we can see, has a life bar – is attack. We will therefore appreciate discovering the range of movements of the superhero (his acrobatics, as well as his dodges) and the skills he has to gain the upper hand over his opponents. True to her reputation as a provocateur, Harley will not hesitate to make fun of the character when her blows fail to reach her, or even to call in reinforcements to do the dirty work for her. If Batman’s disciple manages to get rid of it, Harley Quinn does not seem to have said her last word and could well come back to put spokes in the wheels of the quartet, later in the adventure.
