CINCINNATI (AP) — Nolan Gorman hit a tiebreaking double in the eighth inning and scored on a wild pitch as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Cincinnati Reds 2-1 Thursday for their 13th victory in 18 games. .
Miles Mikolas (3-1) won his third straight start, allowing five hits in seven shutout innings, matching his season bests. He also struck out five and walked no one.
