Google removed the Indian app from its Play Store

Indian gambling app Paytm was caught. Google, the largest Internet company, removed it from its Play Store after the detection.

Google deleted the app from the Android App Store on Friday for adopting a cheating and gambling policy. The Paytm app was developed by Fintech, an Indian technology company, in collaboration with SoftBank and Alibaba Company to facilitate money transactions.

In a statement released by Google, it has been stated that ‘We absolutely cannot place on our store an app designed for gambling or illicit activities, Paytm users used to bet during various sports’.

After receiving complaints of betting or gambling from Google, action was taken against the management of the app. Paytm has also confirmed that their app has been removed from the Google Play Store due to which the service has been affected but we will restore it soon.
