The Google Messages app has been causing problems for Android users for some time now, but a new update has caused the app’s notifications to go crazy on Pixel phones.
According to reports on the internet, Google Messages notifications have been disappearing instantly after being received, not even giving the user a chance to read or respond to them.
Google is constantly releasing updates to its Messages app, but these updates often come with bugs and glitches. This year alone, we’ve seen several issues with Messages, including one in January that prevented users from replying to messages directly from notifications, another in May that caused GIFs sent from iPhones to appear distorted on Android devices, and one in June that stopped displaying draft messages in the conversation list, instead showing only the last message sent or received.
