You can use your mobile maps without internet – Here’s the trick
The trick and the tip
It’s very simple: Save the maps of the area/areas you want to go to so you can have them available at any time even if you’ve run out of MB.
Look for a place like San Francisco. Once you’ve found the location you want to save, go to the options menu by tapping the icon with the three horizontal lines, then tap Offline maps.
Then “select your map” at the top of the screen and you’ll see a message that says “Download a map of this area?” Drag the map inside the blue square box until the area you want to save is included.
Then press download.
Tip: Directions for transit, cycling or walking are not available offline.
