Google is launching a new collection of Pixel ringtones and alarms called Sound Matters. Launched with the Pixel 9 series, this collection is now available for older models as well.

“Sound Matters features unique bird sounds from remote areas of Botswana and Zimbabwe, recorded in late 2023.
The collection contains the sounds of a bird chorus at dawn that reflect the richness of the ecosystem. Specifically, you can enjoy six ringtones and alarms, such as Limpopo Savannah at Dawn and Zimbabwe Hills at Dawn. Four notification sounds are also available, such as Meyer’s Parrot at Dawn and African Fish Eagle at Dawn.
Google also offers a one-hour recording of the Sound Matters Dawn Chorus for all users, available in the Fitbit app. These sounds can have a positive impact on mental and emotional well-being by reducing stress and anxiety.
The Google Sounds 3.1 app update is now rolling out via the Play Store for Pixel 4 models and later.
