**Editor:** Thank you for joining us today, Farhan. Google’s recent initiatives in Pakistan, particularly the AI Essentials course and the scholarships, are quite ambitious. What motivated Google to focus on AI skills development in Pakistan at this time?
**Farhan Qureshi:** Thank you for having me. We recognize the immense potential of the Pakistani youth in technology and AI. By equipping them with essential skills through our programs, we aim to bridge the gap between education and job market demands, ultimately contributing to the country’s economic growth.
**Editor:** The partnership with the Pakistan Freelancers Association is intriguing. How do you envision this collaboration impacting the freelance community?
**Farhan Qureshi:** Our goal is to empower freelancers by enhancing their soft skills, personal branding, and communication proficiency. We believe that by strengthening these areas, freelancers can navigate challenges more effectively and offer greater value in a competitive market.
**Editor:** The statistics showing financial advancement for women completing the Google Career Certificate are impressive. What specific strategies does Google have to ensure these programs are accessible to women in Pakistan?

**Farhan Qureshi:** It’s a valid point. While programs like ours aim to provide necessary skills, we also understand that systemic issues must be addressed holistically. We are continuously engaging with various stakeholders, including governments and educational institutions, to advocate for broader reforms that support sustainable development in Pakistan.
