Google employees protest to end the contract with Israel, many arrested – World

Hundreds of Google employees protested, demanding an end to cooperation with Israel. They gathered in front of the office of Google Cloud Chief Executive Tomas Kurian and demanded to end the relationship with Israel and occupied the office by staging a sit-in for at least eight hours.

Many employees have been arrested in response to the protest. Protests were held in California and New York. The employees urged the company’s management to stop working with the Israeli government. Employees who refused to leave the Google Cloud CEO’s office were arrested. They demanded that the provision of cloud computing services to the Israeli government be stopped.
