O Google Chrome is getting a “Circle to Search” in its desktop version. Initially, the feature was launched by the company in January and was gradually rolled out to other devices. Now, it’s time for computers to have access to the function.
As reported by the portal Android Policethe new feature is available in version 127 beta of the browser for PC, as well as 127 beta of the ChromeOS system. Officially, it is called “Drag to Search” (Drag To Search), but the way it works in practice is essentially the same as the feature launched on mobile devices.
So, all the user needs to do is circle an element they see on their screen and search for related content. However, the functionality must be enabled, and this can be done by pressing the Google Lens icon in the address bar of Chromebooks or tapping the button for searching with Lens in the Windows and macOS versions of the browser.
