Google announces layoffs after firing protesting employees – World

Google’s management has also announced new layoffs after firing 28 employees yesterday for protesting against Israel. Dozens of employees protesting the ‘Project Nimbus’ contract with Israel occupied the office of the chief executive of the Google cloud sector.

When the employees did not give up their protest and did not leave the CEO’s chamber despite repeated warnings from the management, the police were called and several employees were arrested.

The protesting employees said that the cloud service provided to Israel is being used to plan the massacre of Palestinians, so this contract should be terminated immediately.

In a statement, Google’s management said that there is no scope for baseless protests by employees against any country, such behavior cannot be tolerated at any stage.
