“Bergretter” star Sebastian Ströbel had indicated months ago that the new episodes would be emotional. Another farewell is coming.

During a rescue mission in the first episode of season 14, she fell down a cliff and died. Her friend Simon Plattner (Ferdinand Seebacher, 34) said goodbye to Raumsau in the following episode. But viewers have to prepare for the fact that another character will soon no longer be seen.

It’s still a while away from the broadcast date, but it’s already clear: hotelier and “Die Bergretter” veteran Peter Herbrechter (Michael König, 76) will die. “After Peter Herbrechter’s sudden death, Tobias is plagued by self-blame,” says a ZDF program announcement for the episode “Höhenfeuer,” which will be broadcast on December 14th at 8:15 p.m. Tobias (Markus Brandl, 48) had previously separated from his father “in an argument, and now there can be no more reconciliation.”
But it gets even more dramatic! “The mountain rescuers were on their way to Peter Herbrechter’s funeral when they were called into action: a climber fell from a ledge shortly after reporting a forest fire,” it continues. Can Markus Kofler (Sebastian Ströbel, 46) still save the situation?

Had in June Ströbel in an interview with Ruhr24 It has already been hinted that fans will have to prepare for another series death: “But of course it will also be a very emotional rollercoaster ride again and I can already reveal that there will be a lot of welcome and farewell again. You can’t be sure of anything with the ‘mountain rescuers’.” The “welcome” probably means, among others, Alexandra Winkler, played by Viktoria Ngotsé (34). She is the successor to Jessika Pollath.

“That’s the beauty of our format,” Ströbel continued. “Many people always think – ‘They can’t do that’ – but puff cake. Everything is allowed with us. You never know what’s going to happen and that’s what makes us so unpredictably good.” But hopefully he himself will be there for a while. “If I realized that I could no longer do anything with the role or the format, I would end it immediately,” the actor confirmed, but he “still thinks the role is great, I really enjoy it.”
Ströbel has the feeling “that Markus Kofler’s story has not yet been told and that the relationship between Markus and the audience is not yet over. I’m quite sure that I still have a bit of time and I’m really enjoying it.” Heidi Klum is a guest in the second episode of the new “Bergretter” season – but the GNTM icon didn’t want any money for her role.
