GOOD Ol’ Dreams released their debut album entitled Untuk Pengantin in physical release in the form of Compact Disc (CD) and Vinyl or black disc.
The musician whose real name is Ivan Adiwiguna packs a classic love story in the album Untuk Pengantin which tells the story of a figure who is left to marry his lover. This album presents the nuances of Indonesian progressive pop music in the style of the late 70s and early 80s but with a touch of generation Z.
“Every song on the album For the Bride is related, a sequence of phases from rejection to acceptance of the situation,” said Ivan in a press release, Wednesday (3/7).
Actually, Untuk Pengantin has been present in digital format, last May. However, now, the physical release follows through collaboration with the Demajors record label.
This album contains 11 tracks, which describe the dynamics of the process from the initial phase full of anger (the songs Shallow and Geram), then the moment when you start to be able to think clearly (Mohon Maaf), a flashback of the time of being in love (Tersipu Senja), which then makes you realize the bitterness of the existing reality (Merenggut Jiwa and Mengnaskan).
There are also songs like Kelam and Hina, which represent a phase of depression, then Untuk Pengantin, which contains a message to a lover, followed by the song that is the focus of the track, namely Kilau, which tells regarding separation.

The album closes with a prayer in the form of the instrumental song Hopefully You Both Are In Goodness.

“Most of the songs on this album were created and arranged in 2022, except for Tersipu Senja, whose demo version has been around since 2016. Mohon Maaf and Kilau were only created in 2023, replacing 2 songs that were previously going to be part of this album,” said Epeng.
Almost all of the writing and recording process was done by Ivan independently, but his colleagues in Cirebon still contributed to perfecting this album.
For example, the role of Muhamad Munajat who plays the electric guitar in the song Mohon Maaf, then Lely who provides the background voice for the song Kilau, Ikhvana Dwi Rionaldi who helped with the audio process for the song Untuk Pengantin, also Indra Antra who provided a lot of input for the song Tersipu Senja.
