Good news.. Reducing the costs of recruiting domestic workers by 3 thousand riyals, and revealing the reason

Al-Marsad newspaper: Sources close to the recruitment offices revealed that the recruitment bill was reduced by “2.2-3.5 thousand riyals”, following the institutional quarantine on domestic workers was abolished.

The sources pointed out that the recruitment offices were deliberately raising the recruitment bill following the decision of the Ministry of Human Resources to adopt the institutional quarantine on all domestic workers as soon as they entered the Kingdom, indicating that the period of institutional quarantine began with 10 days and then reduced to 7 days and finally 5 days in one of the approved hotels, according to Okaz newspaper.

She stressed that the costs of recruitment of various nationalities for domestic workers in the electronic portal “Musaned” did not change, except for the addition of the value of institutional quarantine, noting that the costs of institutional quarantine vary from one country to another, ranging between “2.2 – 3.5 thousand riyals.”

And she continued, “The costs of the bill for recruiting Ugandan domestic workers with institutional quarantine ranged between 12.7-13,000 riyals, Sri Lankan workers 29.3 thousand riyals, and Filipino workers 23.2 thousand riyals.”
