Dr. Ashraf Shaker, Head of the Astronomy Department at the National Institute for Astronomical Research, said that the beginning of the seasons depends on the Earth’s rotation around the sun, pointing out that on September 23, the Earth becomes at the point where summer ends and autumn begins.
Shaker stressed, during a phone call to this morning’s program, broadcast on the Extra News satellite channel, that there is a link between the Earth’s rotation around the sun and the beginning of the seasons astronomically, but meteorology is linked to other more complex factors due to the presence of more cycles, such as the activity of the sun.
He added that from September to December, we will witness many meteors or meteors that will appear in the sky, which resemble fireworks, and this is one of the most prominent phenomena that occur during the year. Astronomy enthusiasts are waiting for it every year.
He pointed out that it comes from the place where comets cross, during the Earth’s rotation around the sun, the Earth attracts some objects, such as rocks left by meteors, and these rocks are so small that most of them burn in the Earth’s atmosphere and form fun fireworks, and what is left of them on Earth is a national wealth Because it is considered part of Mars that fell to Earth.
