Despite the changeable weather, the Street Parade in Zurich attracted a huge crowd on Saturday. Already at the beginning of this year’s event, which is considered the largest techno party in the world, tens of thousands gathered along Lake Zurich, as reported by the Keystone-SDA press agency. According to the organizers, around 900,000 people came to the Street Parade last year.
DJs provided music and atmosphere on 30 so-called Love Mobiles, which drove along the Zurich lake basin, as well as on eight stationary stages. Under this year’s parade motto “I Wish” (“I wish for myself”), the participants partied in rain jackets and imaginative costumes. The Street Parade has rolled through Zurich every year since 1992. Only in 2020 and 2021 was it canceled due to the corona pandemic.
