Samsung released this Monday (23) an update for Good Lock’s One Hand Operation Plus module. The tool, which allows you to navigate devices compatible with gestures for use with a single hand, will now feature new ways of interacting with the device, including a new feature exclusive to One UI 6.
Now, when you assign a gesture to open the quick launcher, you can set it to show recent apps on the first menu page. Just go to the settings page and enable the “Show recent apps” option, and the last programs you opened will be displayed before the list of favorite titles.
Users will also be able to Tap and hold an app icon to run it in split-screen mode or in a pop-up windowbut this function will only be available following updating to Android 14.
Another change that can be seen is the removal of the “hide handle” option from the list of actions, so as to prevent accidental gestures from disabling One Hand Operation Plus. In addition, Samsung claims to have made bug fixes and stability improvements.
The new features are available in version 6.6.19 of One Hand Operation Plus, which can be updated through the Galaxy Store or Play Store. To use it, you need to download and install Good Lock, the personalization suite for Samsung cell phones and tablets, which arrived less than a year ago for Brazilian users.
One of the latest additions to Good Lock’s toolset is version 5.1.0.6 of Sound Assistant, the feature that lets you control the volume panel. After the last update, the engine started to bring new lighting and texture effects options to the volume indicator, in addition to the possibility of using voice effects when recording audio.
