With its MagicBook This machine is not free from defects, but perfectly fulfills its role assigned to the family.
This MagicBook X 16 is a nice surprise. At a very affordable price, Honor offers a well-equipped, high-performance large-screen computer with a perfectly decent screen. Not everything is perfect, obviously. The autonomy is a little disappointing and the audio score is poor. We would also have liked to have had a little more complete connectivity and a better webcam. With these few reservations, the Honor MagicBook X 16 perfectly fulfills its role as a family PC.
Points forts
Performances on point. Slab 16:10. Reasonable weight considering the dimensions. Comfortable, expandable storage.
Weak points
Battery life a little low. Poor quality webcam. No keyboard backlight. Speakers not up to par.

An alternative
Honor is carrying out a timid update of its MagicBook 15 in 2022. The brand is struggling to renew itself despite a screen with good qualities. AMD’s Ryzen 5000 processor provides an interesting little boost, but does not mask the shortcomings of the chassis which is starting to date.
