The Garmin Venu Black connected watch goes under 200 € at Amazon i.e. a drop of regarding 30% on the price usually observed.
With its Venu, Garmin offers a consumer sports watch, elegant, with high performance and equipped with an OLED screen to complete the whole thing.
Let’s put it simply and bluntly: the Garmin Venu is an excellent connected sports watch. It is complete and practical, supported by a beautiful Oled panel and very good autonomy. A good choice to equip yourself before your sports outings.
Points forts
- Oled panel of excellent quality.
- Excellent finishes.
- Very complete Garmin Connect application.
- Excellent sports monitoring.
- Autonomy of 5 days.
Weak points
- Good interface, but might be improved.
- Sometimes random music control.
NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude prices from shops whose the VAT policy is not clear (known as “grey” shops, typically in the case of imports from China).
An alternative
Like the Watch GT 2e and the Watch Fit before it, the Watch GT2 Pro benefits from a solid technical sheet and turns out to be a good watch. Unfortunately, it’s the user experience itself that limits the watch. A little less sporty, but much more fluid, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 46mm is a very relevant alternative if sport is not your priority.
