The Pixma G7050 is part of Canon’s MegaTank range. This is a 4-in-1 color inkjet printer that uses ink tanks and not expensive cartridges, which allows it to boast a paltry cost per page.
By adding a document feeder, the Pixma G7050 retains the many qualities of the G6050. Besides its paltry cost per page, it turns out to be a good all-purpose printer. Compared to a color laser printer, it stands out for its honorable photo performance, although its printing speeds are not comparable. However, we will regret a control panel which is a blemish considering its high price. The investment in a G7050 can nevertheless be quickly amortized and its healthier economic model should appeal to those who are using their umpteenth cartridge printer.
