The Golongan Karya Party (Golkar) DPP held an event entitled “Friday of Blessings and Free Meals” at the Golkar Party DPP Ainul Hikmah Mosque, Jalan Anggrek Neli Murni, Palmerah, West Jakarta, Friday (8/11/2024). Deputy General Chair of the Golkar Party for Public Policy, Idrus Marham, said that this activity was carried out on the orders of the General Chair, Bahlil Lahadalia.
Idrus emphasized that Bahlil conveyed this order following the announcement of the Golkar Party DPP management composition for the 2024-2029 period. “The general chairman told us that with yesterday’s management announcement, it is hoped that it will become a starting point for the Golkar Party’s struggle to achieve various achievements for Indonesia’s progress,” said Idrus, when holding a press conference at the Golkar Party DPP Office, Friday (8/11) .
He explained that this activity was carried out by the Golkar Party to support the policies of the Government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. “The general chairman instructed me as deputy general chairman for public policy that what was being done or the program initiated by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, namely free nutritious meals, said the general chairman not only to support, but the Golkar Party DPP would take the operational lead,” explained Idrus.

According to Idrus, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources asked Golkar to become a pioneer of free nutritious food. “In his language, the president doesn’t just talk nonsense, but the general chairman said the Golkar Party must not only support it, but must take the lead,” he said.
He said that Golkar was committed to spreading free food throughout the archipelago. “So what is being done today is not only in Slipi, but because it is pioneering and this is a movement, the characteristic of the movement is that the activities are continuously carried out simultaneously and evenly throughout the archipelago,” said Idrus.
Meanwhile, the Head of the National Witness Body for the Golkar Party (BSNPG), Syahmud Basri Ngabalin, hopes that this activity can continue continuously in accordance with the Prabowo Government’s policies.
“Hopefully this will be a trigger for all of us to implement these agendas and for our nation to move towards a just and prosperous welfare of the Indonesian people,” said Syahmud, on the same occasion. (Ykb/I-2)
