Munich golf pro Stephan Jäger got off to a brilliant start on the US tour at the PGA tournament in Detroit.
The 33-year-old stayed five shots short of the course standard of 72 shots in the first round and following the opener is tied for eighth place.
Tony Finau from the USA and Canadian Taylor Pendrith share first place, three strokes better than Jäger. Four other professionals are tied for third place.
