Cologne (SID) – Golf pro Marcel Schneider (Pleidelsheim) achieved another top 10 result on the European tour in Crans Montana/Switzerland. The 32-year-old moved up to seventh place in Sunday’s Omega European Masters with a final round of 66 and a total of 266 shots. Marcel Siem (Ratingen/269) ended up in 16th place.
His second tournament victory of the season was secured in the playoff on the first extra hole by the South African Thriston Lawrence, who after four rounds like Matt Wallace (England) had 262 strokes.
