It was the reunion in Las Vegas between the fans and their champions from the last Stanley Cup final on Tuesday.

The Golden Knights players celebrated for one last time before the start of their season their conquest obtained following a victory in Game 5 of the final once morest the Florida Panthers, then they concluded the evening with a victory of 4-1 once morest the Seattle Kraken.

In a pre-game ceremony, Knights captain Mark Stone brought the Stanley Cup onto the ice. With a typical Vegas touch, Stone threw a “slot machine” so that the end result was three Stanley Cups and at that moment, the champions’ banner was raised aloft at T-Mobile Arena.

The Knights continued the celebrations early in their game once morest the Seattle Kraken. Chandler Stephenson completed a superb passing game with Stone and Brett Howden in the 8th minute of play to open the scoring.

The recipient of the last Conn-Smythe Trophy, Jonathan Marchessault picked up where he left off. The forward deflected a throw from Kraken player Brandon Tanev into the back of the Seattle goal to make it 2-0 Vegas.

Ivan Barbashev increased the lead following only 1:20 of action in the second period by taking a long pass from Brayden McNabb from his territory before rushing to the net with Vince Dunn on his heels to try to bother him.

Jack Eichel completed the scoring into an empty net with 1:15 remaining in the game.

Jared McCann responded in a losing cause, being the only one to beat Adin Hill, who made 32 saves. Philipp Grubauer made 24 on the other side.

We also witnessed a questionable move in the third period when Brett Howden dealt a blow to the head of Brandon Tanev, who did not return to the game followingwards. Howden received a 5-minute major penalty and a game misconduct.

William Carrier also did not finish the match due to an upper body injury.
