witnessed Gold price in Egypt Today, Saturday, at the conclusion of the weekly trading sessions, a noticeable movement of regarding 4 pounds, to record a gram of gold, a rise from 1110 pounds to 1114 pounds per gram of 21 karat, which is the main caliber in the gold market.

Regarding the details of the gold price in Egypt today, Osama Al-Jalla, Secretary of the Gold Division, revealed that the price of gold is 1114 pounds for 21 karat now, and 18 karat has reached the price of 955 pounds, while the price of 24 karat gold reached 1273 pounds, and the gold pound is 8912 pounds.

Osama Al-Jalla said that the demand for gold in Egypt continues and has not witnessed any declines in the recent period, but there is a growing demand for gold pounds and gold bars of different weights in the current period, especially in light of the tendency of people to hedge once morest high inflation rates.

Al-Jalla added, in his statements, that there is a diversity of demand in the markets, but the pounds and bullion are still at the forefront of the scene so far, pointing out that the movement of prices, whether up or down, has several controls, the most important of which are the factors of supply and demand, the movement of an ounce in the global stock exchange and finally dollar prices.
