The price of a gram of 24-carat gold today in Palestine, during evening trading, rose to regarding 185.86 shekels ($55.10), according to the gold-price-today platform for monitoring gold prices.

And the price of a gram of 21 karat gold today in Palestine (the most traded in the market) increased to regarding 162.63 shekels ($48.21).

The price of a gram of 18 karat gold today in Palestine rose to regarding 139.40 shekels ($41.32).

As for economic gold prices today in Palestine, the price of a gram of 14 karat gold recorded regarding 108.42 shekels ($32.14).

Gold prices today globally

Globally, gold prices consolidated their gains when settling Friday’s trading session (the end of the week) following the US jobs report, but it recorded the third consecutive weekly loss, as Federal Reserve officials continued to confirm interest increases to curb the acceleration of inflation.

The US economy added 315 thousand jobs during the month of August, higher than expectations of 295 thousand, but less than the July data, which showed the addition of 526 thousand jobs, and the unemployment rate rose to 3.7%.
