Regarding economic gold prices today in Lebanon, the price of a gram of 14 karat gold recorded regarding 54,910 thousand pounds ($ 36.27).

Gold prices today globally
Gold prices rose on Monday, as demand for the safe-haven metal was boosted by the war in Ukraine and risk aversion in broader stock markets, but its gains were limited by a rise in US Treasury yields following strong jobs data in March.
Spot gold rose 0.1% to $1,926.56 an ounce by 0946 GMT.
US gold futures rose 0.4% to $130.70.
“We haven’t seen any progress in the peace talks and negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, so we’ve seen a bit of a return to risk aversion, which is raising gold prices,” said Carlo Alberto de Casa, Market Analyst at Kinesis.
Ukraine has accused Russia of war crimes, casting a shadow over peace talks scheduled for today. Meanwhile, Germany said that the West would agree to impose more sanctions on Moscow, which put caution on the stock markets.
The dollar index rose and US two-year Treasury yields rose to their highest levels since early 2019.
As for other precious metals, the price of silver in spot transactions rose 0.4 percent to $24.71 an ounce, platinum increased 0.4 percent to $989.81, and palladium jumped 2.1 percent to $2,324.16.
