Gold prices in the local market rose once more during evening trading, with the price of an ounce of gold globally rising from the level of 1914 dollars per ounce to the level of 1921 dollars per ounce, in addition to the continued rise in the price of the dollar once morest the Egyptian pound.
And gold prices rose during transactions by regarding 50 pounds, to record 21 karat best selling 1050 pounds, and 18 karat scored regarding 900 pounds and 24 karat regarding 1200 pounds, and the price of the gold pound was 8400 pounds.
A member of the Gold Works Division in the Cairo Chamber, Amr Al-Maghraby, said that the market is currently witnessing a state of confusion that pushed gold prices to strong price movements during today’s trading, pointing out that some individuals are buying as a safe haven for investment, while other groups preferred to wait until prices stabilize.
