Gold prices in Egypt witnessed an increase during yesterday’s session, and it is trying to continue the rise during today’s session, in conjunction with the rise in the price of an ounce of gold in the global market. This comes amid great anticipation in the markets for the volume of demand for gold.

The price of a gram of 21 carat gold, the most common, recorded today, Tuesday, 2270 pounds per gram, an increase of 5 pounds compared to the opening price of today’s session, while the price of the gold pound today recorded 18160 pounds.

Yesterday, gold prices rose by 10 pounds to close at the level of 2260 pounds per gram. The session was marked by moderate declines in the price of gold, before it closed on an increase in conjunction with the rise in global ounce prices yesterday.

Gold prices today:

21 karat records 2270 pounds.

18 karat records 1946 pounds.

24 karat records 2594 pounds.

The gold pound is 18,160 pounds.

And gold prices in Egypt got support from the decline in the supply of gold in exchange for the increasing demand, due to the cessation of importing gold since March 2022, and therefore the local supply remains limited in the face of high demand, so this works to keep gold prices at high levels despite the large declines that we witnessed. in the global gold price.

While we find that the gold imports initiative helped the entry of 600 kilograms of gold into the market, but in light of the high demand of the Egyptian market, this amount did not affect the price, although it contributed to achieving some stability and improving market sentiment.
