Gol Linhas Aéreas resumes, as of March 26, direct flights between three important cities in the interior of Brazil, Caxias do Sul (RS), Maringá (PR) and Uberlândia (MG), to Congonhas airport, in São Paulo .
The inauguration of this route through Congonhas does not suspend the option already served by Guarulhos (SP), one of Gol’s main hubs. In this way, Gol will increase the offer of flights and schedules, letting the customer choose which airport in Greater São Paulo best meets the demand for that trip.
Only Gol will make the connection between the Serra Gaúcha, via Caxias do Sul, to Congonhas, as well as the flight between Maringá, in western Paraná, with the central airport in São Paulo. Flights to and from Congonhas de Caxias do Sul and Maringá will be daily, with the exception of Saturdays. Between Congonhas and Uberlândia, Gol will offer daily flights. The flights will be operated on Boeing 737-800NG aircraft, for up to 186 passengers.
