In addition to the main shows, in Villa Carlos Paz 2023 there is a comedian born in a town in the interior of Cordoba who made a name for himself in the season with his one-man comedy show.
This is Andrés Pomiro, a theater teacher who had an original idea and exploited it until he was able to put on his own theatrical show. The young man from El Arañado has more than 700,000 followers on his Facebook and Instagram accounts, in which he introduces himself as “El chico de los audios”.
It is that, for those who want to lower the figure of the comedian, when he developed his idea in 2018 (before the explosion of TikTok) Andrés was one of the first to use the resource of recording and publishing himself mimicking viral audios.

The pandemic has a lot to do with it, first as a starting point for its creation and then as a theme to present (and parody) the exhaustion of mothers and fathers with children in a context of confinement. “Son of p…, you don’t even know my name. I am Andrés Pomiro and you came to see my comedy show ”, the comedian expresses in a fun way, generating laughter and giving rise to a compilation of audios that he will imitate going around the stage.
It does not seem possible to maintain attention for two hours just playing and interpreting WhatsApp audio. Pomiro meets this challenge with charisma, interactions that surprise the audience, and stand-up and improvisation resources.
In a discreet but sufficient scenery, the comedian goes through the most viral audios of his networks and focuses on some main characters: a boy, a girl, a grandmother and a “bad cheto”
This last character will be in charge of presenting an unbeatable closure. “Will you help me recreate my most viral video? I am going to improvise the scene with the ideas that you throw at me, ”she invited.

Andrés refers to a very viral audio: that of the girl who forgets a bag of poop on the table of a boy she met on a date.
The contributions were hilarious and, later, he had to recreate, step by step, the actions of the unusual and unfortunate situation that the girl in the audio experienced. The theater was wrapped in an endless laugh that he let flow until the end.
Pomiro concludes his work by generating content for the place where it all began: shouting and amidst loud applause, he records a video that will end up on his Instagram account to demonstrate that the networks and theater can go hand in hand in peace.
