“Going towards Kiev, a coordinator was waiting for us” –

Spotlight on the attack in Moscow, which once once more experienced the worst nightmares of terrorist attacks when, on the evening of March 22, armed men broke into the Crocus City Hall concert hall and opened fire on the audience. At first there was a backlash of accusations between Moscow and Kiev. Then ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack. Vladimir Putin insisted on Ukraine, although he later recognized the Islamic origin of the massacre. Now the FSB has released a new video of the interrogations of the four Crocus attackers in which they talk regarding their coordinator, a certain Saifullo, who following the attack was waiting for them at the border with Ukraine, where he allegedly gave them a million rubles each (the equivalent of $10,800).

Saifullo had shown them the location of the attack, provided them with money and weapons and prepared the escape plan. The four attackers appear in good condition, with no more bandages, wounds, swellings or stretchers (apart from the bandage of one to the ear) in the images published a few hours following the arrest, 140 kilometers from the border with Ukraine. The first suspect to appear in the video is Dalerdzhon Mirzoyev who explains how their plan following the attack was to “go towards Kiev”. The second Saidakrami Rachabalizoda, says that «Saifullo had instructed us to go to Ukraine, to Kiev, where he would give us a million rubles». Muhammadsobir Fayzov, speaks of an appointment on the border with Ukraine with people who “would have helped them cross the border and reach Kiev”. “We were told to leave the car somewhere near the border and call our coordinator, who would help us get to Kiev,” adds Shamsidin Fariduni.
