Swinging Montpellier Opening Night
Festival: This Friday’s program includes a warm-up event at the Polygone, starting with a live performance by the Syncopathique orchestra at 2 p.m. At 3 p.m., there will be an introduction to lindy hop in the Patio Fnac (free entry). The evening continues at Promenade du Peyrou with a series of exciting events. At 7 p.m., there will be an inauguration followed by a tasting workshop by Pays d’Oc IGP (registration required). The highlight of the evening is the Count Basie Contest at 8 p.m., a competition not to miss. Enjoy a concert by the Swing Up Orchestra at 8:30 p.m., followed by a presentation of guest dancers at 9:30 p.m. The evening will culminate with another concert by the Swing Up Orchestra at 9:45 p.m. For those looking to party late into the night, there will be an following-party at the Jost Hôtel with a DJ set starting at 11 p.m.

O’Vintages
