Employees of the GOG digital store can now take paid time off if they experience severe discomfort due to menstruation. This was reported by the portal Axious with reference to representatives of the site.
GOG was one of the first companies in the gaming industry to offer this kind of employee support. According to media reports, CD Projekt also plans to implement this practice. According to the new corporate rules of GOG, all employees are given an additional day off of their choice once a quarter. However, if necessary, they can take a few more days off or shorten their working hours due to painful menstruation.

According to representatives of the platform, the reason for the restrictions is the “unstable situation with the Russian currency”, due to which “payment providers no longer process payments in rubles.”
