SNK announced King of Fighters XV DLC character Goenitz and the highly anticipated cross-play update launch on June 20. The wait will finally be over for cross-play support, and players can look forward to some new content as well.
DLC character Goenitz is free alongside cross-play update for King of Fighters XV. SNK has released a brand new trailer for the upcoming DLC character to highlight his dangerous moveset. Additionally, SNK confirms that a new Boss Challenge featuring Goenitz will be available on June 20. Players who survive the Hellish Onslaught and defeat Goenitz will earn a special costume, new stage, additional BGM, and other rewards.
More content is on the way King of Fighters XV following Goenitz’s exit on June 20. Season 2 paid DLC character Najd will be available this summer, and two more DLC characters are planned for fall and winter 2023 respectively. Additionally, a brand new Fatal Fury / GAROU The title is currently in development with playable fighters Rock Howard, Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, and Joe Higashi. More details on upcoming SNK releases will come at a later date.

Fighting game fans can also look forward to Le match mondial King of Fighters XIII pour Nintendo Switch et PlayStation 4. Le match mondial King of Fighters XIII is an improved version of the original KOF XIII fighting game with restoration netcode and enhanced online features. Prior to launch, players had the option to play Le match mondial King of Fighters XIII open beta test on PlayStation 4 from June 5 to June 11. Players in the open beta test were able to experience the game’s rollback netcode ahead of the full launch later this year.
Lately, King of Fighters XV is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
