Calmly contemplating the events of Lebanon in recent days, he asks where is God’s hand, care and love in this harsh and difficult time that the Lebanese live in these days, when the high price has invaded all the daily basic commodities, which the Lebanese citizen needs on a daily basis, and the ordinary person for his strength, his life and the daily life of his family ?
Lebanon meant the heart of God “the core” (heart), so where is God from the heartache of all the Lebanese, whose pensions have been eaten up by the high dollar, and they have become almost destitute, in days that bring them nothing but bad political and economic news.
The Bible says that Moses, after crossing the separating lands and the desert, and when he looked up and saw the beauty of the mountains of Lebanon, asked: And this mountain? He wanted Mount Hermon to be part of the Promised Land. The Bible says: Then God got angry and said to Moses: Moses, close your eyes, this mountain belongs to me, and you will not cross it, neither you nor anyone who comes after you.
So, Lebanon belongs to God and stood for it. God’s love for Lebanon and the greatness of His care for God’s land and its people were manifested. I believe that this providence is what guides our history today. Let us not be afraid, because God will not leave neither Lebanon nor its people to those who play with its fate and history. And if a person is, as it is said about him, a playful being, then he cannot play with the power and care of God that takes care of us, and that in the end will save Lebanon and send it someone to rescue and save it, and return it to its earlier days in which there was goodness and an abundant and dignified life.
I believe that God will hear our pleas for help, our many prayers, our supplications, our pains and pains, because it is the hand of God that writes human history, even if it is on spiral lines, and history is in the hands of God and not in the hands of humans.
