Gödl ad Wiederkehr: Looking away doesn’t solve any problems

Anyone who points out problems is obviously undesirable for NEOS

Vienna (OTS) – “Looking the other way doesn’t solve any problems. Everyone should have understood that by now, even if the ideology in their heads rebels so loudly against it. With Vienna’s Deputy Mayor Christoph Wiederkehr, who is usually more likely to be due to his negotiation defeats against the Vienna SPÖ than through your own work, the strategy of looking the other way seems to be firmly anchored,” criticizes the spokesman for the People’s Party for Integration and Migration, Ernst Gödl, of the statements made by Vienna’s deputy mayor.

“The fact that people like Minister of the Interior Karner, Minister of Integration Raab and Minister of Education Polaschek are denigrated by Wiederkehr tops it all off. Just because other parties and people are openly addressing the obvious problems and don’t want to take part in the integration policy hide-and-seek of Vienna’s NEOS, they are far from an ‘axis of the unwilling’. Instead of these personal attacks on members of the federal government, Wiederkehr should rather take care of his own department in the city of Vienna. There is more than enough to do there,” concluded Gödl. (Ending)
